What is in the Construction plant and machinery pack

This pack holds eight machines built from separate parts. It is part of the Building sites range and has 24 separate component models and 8 assemblies, which are complete examples that place the components.

The assemblies are the Tracked excavator, Mini excavator, Piling rig, Site dumper, Skid-steer loader, Tandem roller, Telehandler and Wheel loader.

The components break down like this:

Textures are embedded in every model.

Scenes you can build with it

The site lists this pack for groundworks scenes and digital twins. For groundworks, each machine has its own base and working parts. An excavator is a base, boom, stick and bucket, and the piling rig is a base, mast and auger. Because these are separate models, you can position each one yourself. The contents do not list rigging or ready-made animation, so any movement is yours to write.

For digital twins, the eight assemblies are complete machines, such as the Tandem roller or Site dumper, that you can place in a scene.

How the models are made

Every model is a GLB (glTF 2.0 binary) file at high, medium and low detail. Each comes Meshopt-compressed, with uncompressed copies alongside.

High-detail triangle counts range from 328 to 6,400 per model. Low and medium detail suit distant machines, and high detail suits machines near the camera.

Scale is 1 unit = 1 metre. The piling mast is the tallest component at 7.6 m high, and the telehandler base is the widest at 4.523 m across.

Where it stops, and what to pair it with

This pack is machines. Its contents list names no cabins, pipes, trenches or structures.

The rest of the Building sites range covers those areas:

The licence allows commercial games, apps, websites, visualisations and client work. Reselling or redistributing the model files is not allowed.

Questions

What is in the Construction plant and machinery pack?

24 component models, each as high, medium and low detail GLB files (a 14.0 MB zip, with uncompressed copies), plus 8 assembly files that place those models into the complete examples shown on this page and a small three.js loader for them, and the licence.

How many triangles are the models?

Between 328 and 6,400 triangles at the high detail level. Each model's page lists the count for every level.

Can I use them in a commercial project?

Yes. The licence covers commercial games, apps, websites, visualisations and client work. You cannot resell or redistribute the model files themselves. See the licence page for the full terms.
