What is in the Buildings under construction pack

This pack covers a residential block at every stage of the build. It sits in the Building sites range and has 28 separate component models and 2 assemblies.

The components start with the structure: frame column, slab bay, slab lift opening, slab stair opening, core wall, core wall return, core doorway and starter bars. Temporary works come next: formwork edge, formwork prop, edge guard post and edge guard span. The envelope pieces are insulation blank, insulation corner, insulation pack, insulation window, wall backing blank, wall backing window, backing corner and window insert. The finish pieces are finish blank, finish corner, finish lintel, finish pier and finish sill, and three stair parts (stair floor landing, stair half flight and stair landing) complete the set.

The two assemblies are complete examples that place the components: "Six floors, three stages visible above finished homes" and "Narrow plot with side access and a changed fitting sequence".

Scenes you can build with it

The site lists this pack for buildings mid-build and for phased construction timelines. Because frames, slabs, formwork, insulation and finishes are separate parts, you can show the same block at different stages.

The six-floor assembly shows three stages visible above finished homes, which makes it a starting point for a building caught partway through construction.

The narrow plot assembly is a second layout. Its name describes side access and a changed fitting sequence, so the order of parts differs from the six-floor block.

How the models are made

Every model is a GLB (glTF 2.0 binary) file at high, medium and low detail. Each comes Meshopt-compressed, with uncompressed copies alongside. One unit is one metre.

High-detail triangle counts run from 108 to 4,608 per model. Textures are embedded in every model.

The tallest component is the finish blank at 3.2 m high. The widest is the slab stair opening at 6 m across.

Where it stops, and what to pair it with

This pack covers the building itself. It does not include site cabins, services or groundworks, and it has no cranes or plant.

The rest of the Building sites range fills those gaps:

The licence allows commercial games, apps, websites, visualisations and client work. Reselling or redistributing the model files is not allowed.

Questions

What is in the Buildings under construction pack?

28 component models, each as high, medium and low detail GLB files (a 7.8 MB zip, with uncompressed copies), plus 2 assembly files that place those models into the complete examples shown on this page and a small three.js loader for them, and the licence.

How many triangles are the models?

Between 108 and 4,608 triangles at the high detail level. Each model's page lists the count for every level.

Can I use them in a commercial project?

Yes. The licence covers commercial games, apps, websites, visualisations and client work. You cannot resell or redistribute the model files themselves. See the licence page for the full terms.
