Compatibility
| What | Works with | Tested |
|---|---|---|
| GLB files | Any glTF 2.0 tool: three.js, react-three-fiber, Babylon.js, PlayCanvas, Blender (uncompressed copies included for tools without meshopt) | three.js 0.186 |
Assembly loader assemblies.js | three.js (and react-three-fiber, which uses three.js) | three.js 0.186 |
Kit runtime jstov-kit.js (materials, poses) | three.js | three.js 0.186, offline from the unzipped folder |
Other engines read the GLBs, but the assemblies and generators are three.js code: in Babylon.js or Blender you place the parts yourself.
What is in the Tower cranes and lifting pack
The pack has 22 separate component models and 3 assemblies. You build the cranes from modular parts.
The tower crane group is the largest: tower base, tower mast, tower slew, tower counterjib, tower ballast, tower jib section, tower jib tip and tower trolley, with a hook block and a hoist line. The mobile crane uses mobile chassis, mobile outrigger, mobile slew, mobile boom base and mobile boom extension. The lifting kit has material hoist base, material hoist mast and material hoist car, plus concrete skip, lifting cage, pallet fork and two leg sling.
The 3 assemblies are complete examples that place the components: Tower crane, Mobile crane, and Material hoist and lifting loads.
Scenes you can build with it
The site lists this pack for skyline cranes and animated lifting.
For a skyline, the tower crane assembly is the starting point, and the tower mast, jib section and counterjib parts let you build variations of your own. For animated lifting, each part is its own model, so the trolley, hook block, hoist line and loads such as the concrete skip or lifting cage can be moved separately. The contents do not include ready-made animation, so any movement is yours to write.
The mobile crane suits ground-level scenes. Its chassis, outriggers, slew and boom parts are separate models.
How the models are made
Every model is a GLB (glTF 2.0 binary) file at high, medium and low detail. Each comes Meshopt-compressed, with uncompressed copies alongside. Textures are embedded in every model.
High-detail triangle counts range from 88 to 7,804 per model. One unit is one metre. The tallest component is the hoist line at 3 m high, and the widest is the mobile chassis at 8.413 m across.
Where it stops, and what to pair it with
This pack covers lifting equipment. It contains no ground, no buildings and no site furniture, so a scene needs context from elsewhere.
It is part of the Building sites range, and the other packs fill the gaps:
- Buildings under construction
- Construction plant and machinery
- Site cabins, services and groundworks
The licence allows commercial games, apps, websites, visualisations and client work. Reselling or redistributing the model files is not allowed.

Questions
What is in the Tower cranes and lifting pack?
22 component models, each as high, medium and low detail GLB files (a 9.4 MB zip, with uncompressed copies), plus 3 assembly files that place those models into the complete examples shown on this page and a small three.js loader for them, and the licence.
How many triangles are the models?
Between 88 and 7,804 triangles at the high detail level. Each model's page lists the count for every level.
Can I use them in a commercial project?
Yes. The licence covers commercial games, apps, websites, visualisations and client work. You cannot resell or redistribute the model files themselves. See the licence page for the full terms.
